Design effect

Its always cool to see how some our designs come through in other products. Below is a wrap we did for the National Guard 3 years ago. They had keychains made up for give-aways to match the wrap. Sharp!

This is a boat wrap we did for Wetsounds at last year's SurfExpo. We just received one of their new EQs with our design all over the packaing. Not only is the packaging stellar the product itself is going to be ground breaking for the wake boat market.

You gotta check this out...

This was highjacked from one of our sponsored fisherman (http://www.fishwithmatt.com/) but yes, this is for real. Minnesota brings some great stuff...

"You are not seeing things nor has this photo been altered in any way. This photo was sent to me by a good friend of mine named Jake Bohnsack. You may have seen this picture on numerous news stations last night.

With the late ice out Jake and his brother were able to open water fish and ice fish on opening weekend. I got a kick out of this photo and thought I better share it with everyone. Goes to show what being inside for 6 months of zero degree temps will do to ya. Is this really normal? Why is it that we live here again.....? "

Drycleaner's Half Wraps

This job is pure proof that a partial wrap can give nearly as much impact as a full wrap. We did a couple different style vehicles for Janet Davis Cleaners with similar layouts to this Chevy Express van.

Oxygenator Boat Wraps

We finished up two new Rangers 620s for Oxygenator last week. They went straight to the FLW opener in Port Clinton, OH. One of the boats belongs to Scott Fairbarn, the number 2 walleye fisherman in the world. Super cool guy too.

The wraps are seamless and go above the rubrail and all the way into the gunnels. They were printed on 3m 180-10 & laminated with 3M 8518.

No Mo Snow!

It's a little bitter sweet but not really, we were able to log quite a few miles this year. Spring has definitely sprung. Time to put away the sleds. Here is a shot of one of our graphics jobs on both the sled and trailer.

Autorama 08

Here are some pics of the ASA late model stock car we wrapped for Fast Company Motorsports. We had the only fully wrapped race car at the show and had lots of great response from it. We'll get more pics of it on the track soon, the first race is in April in Ohio...

Columbus Police Recruiting Wrap

Here is the Chevy Uplander we just finished for the Colombus Police Academy. We incorporated their Police Memorial on the sides and their helicopter on the back. They were very excited, as this was the first wrap they have ever done!

Crain's Detroit Business

Apparently our strides as a growing company in a tough economy are gaining some attention. Crains's Detroit Business contacted us to do are an article regarding some of the federal work we do. Here's the link:

Fishapalooza 08 brought to you by recycledfish.org

The Fishapalooza Ice Fishing Contest in Forest Lake, Minnesota, was one of the biggest and best of the “On Ice” series to date. One of our sponsored fisherman and the owner of http://www.badbassboys.com/ was on hand to lend his help. Somehow he scored the National Guard Hummer Cart we stickered up a while back...

We printed a few banners and magnets for the event as well. It's good to see our vinyls don't crack into a thousand pieces in sub-zero temps!

Here is a pic of their summer ride we wrapped up. Looks like they have a little captain in 'em!

Wetsounds Boat @ CES, Las Vegas Baby!

Wetsounds debuted their Tige RZ4 at this year's Consumer Electronics Show in Sin City. They are rocking one of our boat wraps, actually one of the trickier wraps we've done. Getting the side patterns to line up at the transom was interesting to say the least. Of course we nailed it ;) We also did a few boardwraps for some of the displays you see in the background. Here are the Wetsounds girls with Mad Mike from MTV's Pimp My Ride:

Here you can kind of peep the board wraps...

I had to include this pic from the fall, awesome shot, thanks Tim!

This shot was from when the boat was picked up. We flew to Tige's plant to do the installation. Tim's truck looks killer pulling it, not to mention the custom triple axle trailer.

Red Eye Products Show Trailer

Thanks to the guys at Red Eye for coming up with a great concept on a bitchin wrap! They're going to be using this trailer as a rolling showroom for the products at all the motorcycle shows this spring. These guys sell some of the best cleaners we've ever used on our bikes. Here's a shot of one of their latest builds from Amen Choppers http://www.amenmotorcycles.com/:

The time they spent preparing their trailer says alot about the kind of show they run. Not only did they remove all the hardware on the trailer, they even went as far as fabbing up new diamond-plate trim and updating all the running lights to some bad ass LED units. This thing lights up like a UFO! One of the trickest features is how they shaved all the door handles and hinges and incorporated hidden, remote control door poppers. Above and beyond to say the least.

Don't think this project is done yet though! There are more LEDs to come and I know they have a few other tricks up their sleeve. We will also be wrapping a matching golf cart in the near future. All the compound curves will really test the limits of 3M's new Comply V2 vinyl. It's nothing we can't handle though ;)

Team JCS Wrap @ Sportsman's Show 2008

Another one of our sponsored fisherman debuted their new 2008 Tournament Boat at the Sportsman's Show this weekend. We finished the wrap just before days before the show and have had nothing but great response since. Team JCS is headed up by Sergeant Major Corey Stigen of the Minnesota National Guard. They are also partially sponsored by Hannays Marine and Yar Craft boats. The boat Yar Craft supplied this year has a 175 horsepower tiller motor! This should really be an interesting boat to run wide open, definitely not for the scared.

New Year, New Logo

How can any graphics company not grow tired of their logo? We did, so we changed it, because we can. Unlike the shoemaker with barefoot kids we can finally say that we took a day off and started wrapping some of our own rides. Of course we will probably grow tired of these designs shortly too.
